Honestly, I love selling my products in person! ❤️
When you visit my stand at a fair, we can talk, and I can tell you more about each piece. You can touch the materials, feel the textures, try the products, and see the colours and details with your own eyes. This way, you know exactly what you're getting and can choose something that feels right for you.
Of course, I also understand that you may discover something at a fair and decide to buy it later, or want to order another piece after returning home. That's why I'm happy to offer online shopping, too!
Every piece is handmade or hand-painted by me, so no two pieces are exactly alike. Small differences are natural and make each creation unique.
Here's what you might notice:
Macramé jewellery: Natural gemstones have their own colours, patterns, textures, and small imperfections. Your stone may look slightly different from the one pictured.
Hand-painted fans and Vietnamese hats: The colours, brushstrokes, and little details may vary slightly because each piece is painted by hand.
Beach blankets: The fabric patterns may vary from one piece to another, depending on the fabric design and the section used.
These small variations are not mistakes. They are part of what makes handmade products special.
Please keep in mind that colours may appear slightly different in photos because of lighting, camera settings, and your screen.
Please take a moment to read the description and check the materials, size, colours, and other details.
If you have any questions or would like more photos before ordering, feel free to contact me. I'm always happy to help!
My goal is simple: I want you to know what to expect and feel happy with the handmade piece you choose. Thank you for supporting my small creative business and appreciating the beauty of handmade things. ❤️
The paintings on my fans are made with acrylic paint, which is water-resistant once dry. However, the fan itself is made of fabric attached to bamboo ribs with textile glue.
If the fan gets wet, the glue may weaken or come loose, and the fabric can become stained or dirty more easily. Rain, splashes, and even heavy fog or damp conditions can damage your fan over time.
My macramé jewellery is made with waxed polyester cord, natural gemstones, and stainless-steel components with gold or silver plating.
The cord is water-resistant, and stainless steel is generally resistant to rust. However, the jewellery is not completely maintenance-free. Frequent exposure to water, soap, shampoo, chlorine, salt water, or other chemicals may affect the metal plating and reduce its shine over time. Natural stones can also vary in their sensitivity to water and chemicals.
My Vietnamese hats are made from natural materials, including palm leaves and bamboo. Their wide shape helps shade your head, face, and part of your shoulders from the sun.
They can also offer some protection from light rain. Just as water runs off leaves in nature, rainwater can run off the surface of the hat. The leaves may get wet and dry again naturally, sometimes developing subtle changes in texture along the way.
However, these hats are not waterproof, and prolonged exposure to rain or moisture may affect their shape and durability.
Because they are natural minerals, each stone has its own variations in colour, patterns, veining, transparency, and shape. Some may have tiny natural inclusions or imperfections.
This means no two pieces are exactly alike. For me, that's part of the charm of working with natural gemstones — every creation has its own character. 🌿💎
Choosing the stones myself is an important part of my creative process. Whenever I have the opportunity, I visit gemstone markets myself to choose stones for my jewellery. I love exploring the different colours, patterns, and textures, and taking the time to find stones that catch my eye.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may even see me exploring these markets in person!
